A new 4th of July tradition

The Fourth of July is always special in Middleton. From the parade to the fireworks, there are activities all day long to help you celebrate the USA's birthday. One of the newer events of the day is brought to you by the Greater Middleton Parks & Recreation District.

It's the PUSH CART DERBY! Returning for the third consecutive year, it's one you don't want to miss. Build your own push cart and race down the hill at Old Middleton Road and N. Dewey Avenue. Ages: 8 to adult. Enlarge the photo to print. Get your rules and sign up to participate at the GMPRD office, 310 N. Hawthorne.
